What's kept
Your goals and what you log against them, your tasks, your journal and your settings, in a database hosted by Supabase.
Your email address signs you in. Your password is kept only as a hash.
Who can see it
Only you, until you share. A shared group's members see its goals and tasks, and what each of you logs against them.
Leave a group, and what you logged in it leaves with you.
Your journal
No one else reads it. A journal entry or a mood can't be shared.
It's encrypted where it's stored, so tables, backups and copies hold only scrambled text. The database holds the key, though, so the rest of the promise is the next section.
Who runs it
Only the person who runs the app can open its database, behind two-factor sign-in. The key that gets around who-can-see-what isn't in any app or build service.
Nobody looks through your data to fix a problem. Fixes start from error reports, which say where the app failed, never what you wrote.
Reminders
A reminder passes through Expo's and Apple's push services carrying a figure, such as 2 of 4, never what a goal is called. Your phone adds the name when it arrives.
In the phone app, under Reminders in You, choose whether a notification names the goal. A quit goal is never named.
Apple Health
Link a goal to Apple Health and your phone fills it in from there. It reads only what you linked, and never writes to Health.
Only each day's figure leaves your phone, as if you'd typed it: never the readings behind it, a workout's route or the time it happened.
Analytics
The app counts what's used, such as a goal being made or a screen opened, never what anything is called, what you logged or what you wrote.
Counts carry a random id made on your device, not your account. Turn them off in You, on each device.
Keeping a copy
Export everything you've made from You, as JSON, with a CSV of what you've logged.
Deleting your account
Delete your account from You. Your journal, your settings and every group only you are in go with it.
In a group you share, what you logged leaves with you, as it does when you leave. The goals and tasks stay with the others, and a group you started passes to whoever has been in it longest.
